Wyoming Hyperscale memorialized our commitment to sustainable hyperscale data center development as a signatory to the Sustainable Web Manifesto.
As a concrete step toward building the first hyperscale ecosystem, using our liquid cooled data center as heat source, today, we're announcing the launch of a new equity affiliate, Wyoming Hyperscale Indoor Farms LLC. Wyoming Hyperscale Indoor Farms will capture rejected heat from our 30MW Phase I development and devote that energy to precision agriculture. We’ll continue to drive the kinds of innovations that our operating partner, Kay Thornock & Sons, Inc., has already implemented; for example: an autonomous, robotic, GPS-controlled irrigation system. The result will be fresher produce for communities in southwest Wyoming, who regularly receive wilted and sometimes moldy produce with very short shelf life, simply on account of being at the far end of supply chains that begin in California. In 2021, there is no reason for all Americans not to have access to fresh, local produce. This operation is only the beginning.
